In the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has achieved a sweeping victory, winning 202 of the 243 seats. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) became the largest party with 89 seats, followed closely by the Janata Dal (United) led by Nitish Kumar with 85 seats. Additionally, the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) made a significant impact, securing 19 out of 29 contested seats.
