In conjunction with his address, the Prime Minister announced the release of over Rs 18,000 crore as the 21st installment of the PM-KISAN scheme. This financial support aims to benefit approximately 9 crore farmers across the nation. Each eligible farmer will receive Rs 6,000 annually, distributed in three equal payments directly to their bank accounts. This initiative underscores the government's commitment to enhancing farmers' livelihoods and bolstering the agricultural sector in India. In a previous engagement, Modi participated in the centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, highlighting his focus on rural and agricultural development.
