Realme has officially announced the upcoming launch of the Realme C85 5G in India, scheduled for November 28. This new budget smartphone will be available through Flipkart as well as Realme's online store. A dedicated microsite on Flipkart has confirmed key specifications, which highlight the phone's robust features and immense battery capacity.
One of the standout features of the Realme C85 5G is its massive 7,000mAh battery. This battery is designed to offer substantial endurance, promising up to 22 hours of video playback, 50 hours of calling capacity, and an impressive 145 hours of music playback. Even when the battery drains to just 1%, it can still offer 9 hours of standby and allow for approximately 40 minutes of continued calling. Its 45W fast charging technology allows for a quick boost of usage, providing up to 1.5 hours of operation from a mere 5-minute charge. Additionally, the device supports 6.5W reverse charging, enhancing its utility as a power bank for other devices.
Durability is another key focus of the Realme C85 5G, boasting an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. This makes it one of the most resilient phones within its budget segment. Furthermore, it meets the MIL-STD 810H standard for shock resistance, providing extra assurance against accidental drops and shocks.
While complete details about the display have not been disclosed, it has been confirmed to achieve a peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits. The phone also features an AI Edit Genie tool that promises to enhance photo editing experiences. In terms of photography capabilities, the C85 5G is equipped with a 50MP “Sony AI” rear camera, along with an 8MP selfie shooter, ensuring high-quality images and social media-ready shots.
This Indian launch follows its initial introduction in Vietnam earlier this month, where the Realme C85 5G was presented with a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD and a high refresh rate of 144Hz. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, suggesting that similar hardware specifications will be featured in the Indian variant. The introduction of the Realme C85 5G strengthens Realme’s commitment to expanding its C series lineup, targeting budget-conscious consumers looking for feature-rich smartphones.
