Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is set to helm the highly anticipated film 'Spirit' featuring India's superstar Prabhas. The teaser for this film was released on Prabhas' birthday, generating significant excitement within both Tollywood and Bollywood circles. Recently, a rumor circulated that renowned actor Chiranjeevi would portray Prabhas' father in the movie. However, Vanga clarified during a talk with the Jigris team that Chiranjeevi will not be involved in any capacity within the film, debunking this speculation.
Additionally, when queried about the involvement of South Korean actor Don Lee as the antagonist, Vanga maintained a level of ambiguity, neither confirming nor denying Lee's participation, which has sparked curiosity among fans.
'Spirit' is slated to commence filming in February 2026, with a ceremonial pooja muhurat expected to take place later this month. The film is being produced by Bhadrakali Pictures in collaboration with T-Series, ensuring a grand scale for this project, which is anticipated to be released in several foreign languages.
Triptii Dimri, known for her role in the film 'Animal', has been cast as the leading lady opposite Prabhas in 'Spirit'. The complete cast is still under wraps, with announcements planned for the near future. The music for this ambitious project is being composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, further heightening expectations for the film's overall appeal.
